Casa Vicens Gaudí Tickets

The Casa Vicens, the first house of Gaudí, and the first relevant work of the architect, puts within the reach of the visitor one of the key pieces of the artistic trajectory of Antoni Gaudí: the work that marked its starting point, an architectural jewel that was declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 2005.
Built between 1883 and 1885 on behalf of Mr. Manuel Vicens, Casa Vicens is one of the first masterpieces of Modernism, the anticipation of the later work of Gaudí and a living example of the airs of aesthetic renewal that were breathed in the late nineteenth century throughout Europe.
In its origin, it was projected as a summer house with garden, in which, geometric shapes and rich ornamentation, inspired by the vegetation of the environment, are present both outside the house and its different interior spaces.
It is located in the 20-26 Carrer de les Carolines, in the heart of the district of Gràcia.

Hours:
9:30 am - 20:00 pm every day of April to October (last access at 18.30h)
9:30 am - 18:00 pm every day from November to March (last access at 16.00h).
The eviction of the compound will begin 15 minutes before closing.
