We'll see you at the Estación de Francia and then travel to the Monastery of Montserrat, just over an hour away from Barcelona.

The distinctive profile of Montserrat will welcome us as we arrive. The Nazis visited this location in the 1940s, hoping to find the Holy Grail. We will learn about these stories, including connections to the Napoleonic troops.

In the audiovisual projection room at the Museum of Montserrat, we'll discover why this sanctuary has been historically significant. The museum features collections of archaeological pieces from the Middle East and works by artists such as Berruguete, Caravaggio, Dalí, Picasso, Luca Giordano, Monet, and Degas.

We will also take a guided tour of the Abbey of Montserrat, where we’ll see notable Gothic and Renaissance artifacts. The highlight is the Virgin of "la Moreneta", the patron saint of Catalonia. Our visit will conclude with a Montserrat liqueurs tasting.

We will arrive back at the starting point between 12 pm and 1 pm.
