Located in the mountain of Montjuïc, one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona, the Poble Espanyol discovers the essence of Spanish culture where history meets culture and leisure through a pleasant and quiet outdoor walk surrounded by nature and recreational spaces.
It was born with the objective of representing the essence of life in the peoples of Spain, a mission that it maintains today thanks to the constant review of its content.
To enter the mind of the creators you can visit the exhibition "A photographic journey. The construction of the Poble Espanyol".
In more than 40,000 m2 of outdoor enclosure the Poble Espanyol becomes a museum that houses 117 architectural constructions on a real scale in various parts of Spain. We will discover a variety of restaurant offers with typical Spanish cuisine products, shops where to buy local product, audiovisual spaces and the Fran Daurel Museum where to admire contemporary art works.
