Join us to visit Alberobello, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare on this day trip from Bari. We'll discover the charms of three of the jewels of Apulia!

Description

At the indicated time we'll meet in front of the Teatro Petruzzelli to begin our day trip to Alberobello, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare. A day of discovering these three jewels of Apulia awaits us.

The first stop will be Alberobello, the famous city of the "trulli". We'll walk through the cobbled streets of its historic centre to see what makes it a unique place in the world. Did you know that it's part of the list of World Heritage Sites? The trulli are circular buildings with a stone roof and are the symbol of this town. It's the perfect place for a photo.

The second destination is Monopoli, located on the southern coast of Bari. Its old town, protected by high walls and a 16th-century castle, retains the essence of a true fishing village. You'll have free time to have lunch, where you might want to taste the fresh fish.

Before returning to Bari, we will visit Polignano a Mare, situated on a cliff overlooking the sea. You'll explore its labyrinthine alleys that open onto balconies with breathtaking views of the Adriatic. Polignano a Mare is also the birthplace of Domenico Modugno, whose statue can be seen on the promenade.

Finally, we'll return to Bari after a total of 7.5 hours of excursion.
