We'll meet at the designated time in front of the Petruzzelli Theatre in Bari and drive in a minibus to Alberobello, about one hour away. A short stop in Polignano a Mare will allow for coastal views.

Alberobello is known for its unique stone houses or 'trullos', declared World Heritage by UNESCO. During our exploration of the districts Rione Aia Piccola and Rione dei Monti, you will learn about the origin of these buildings.

We will enter a trullo to meet one of the families residing there. They will explain the building process while we engage in an extra virgin olive oil tasting session.

After visiting the trullo, you will have an hour of free time to browse the handicraft stalls of Alberobello. The handcrafted products available are well-known throughout Puglia. Finally, we will return to the Petruzzelli Theatre in Bari, concluding our trip after a total of 6 hours.
