Bari Bike Tour

After a brief introduction at the meeting point, participants will mount their bicycles and commence pedaling around Bari city center. Following the guide through the narrow, winding streets of the historic center, attendees will glimpse iconic monuments such as the Basilica di San Nicola and Bari Cathedral. A stop will be made to appreciate the impressive façade of Bari's castle, the Castello Svevo, which dates back to the 12th century!

Entering the typically labyrinthine alleyways that characterize Bari's old town, one can observe the local signoras maintaining a deeply-rooted tradition: making pasta in the street! The tour will proceed to the newer part of the city to admire the beautiful theatres, as well as pass by Bari's most luxurious shops and boutiques.

This bicycle tour of Bari will also take participants down to the seafront promenade, one of the loveliest places in the city to enjoy a bike ride. Of course, it wouldn't be a tour of an Italian city without a visit to a local gelateria! A stop will be made to taste some delicious ice cream before concluding the two-hour tour by the beach.

Bike rental

At the end of the guided tour, there is an option to rent the bicycles for additional time to continue exploring the city at one’s own pace. A deposit of 50 Euros per bike will be required, which will be refunded upon return of the bikes. Bicycles can be rented until 7 pm at the latest.
