Pasta Experience Tour + Tasting

Feel like an authentic Italian chef learning to make traditional pasta in Bari! A local expert will teach you how to cook orecchiette and sample it afterwards.

Description

At the time of your choice, we'll meet in the center of Bari. We'll explore the Apulian city's historic center, visiting key sites like the castle, Bari Cathedral, and the Basilica di San Nicola as we navigate the narrow streets.

Next, we'll arrive at the home of Signora Maria, a local pasta-making expert who will host our cooking class. The masterclass will start with a lesson on how to shape the dough for the famous orecchiette. You will learn about the secret of the recipe.

After shaping the pasta, we’ll watch Signora Maria cook it, and once it's al dente, we will sit down to enjoy a plate of orecchiette with fresh tomato sauce in the traditional style. Our pasta experience and meal will conclude after 2.5 hours.
