Description

At your chosen time, we'll gather at the main park in Barichara to begin the walking tour, exploring iconic spots.

The journey starts with a walk along Calle Real, visiting a traditional sweets shop, then proceeding to the Santa Barbara church, the town's first chapel.

Next, we'll head to the higher part of Barichara, enjoying a panoramic view of the historic center, including the Cathedral. We'll discuss the history of this temple, dating back to the 18th century.

The tour includes a visit to Barichara's cemetery, known for its unique tomb designs, and an art workshop to learn about an ancient artistic technique.

We will visit the Salto del Mico viewpoint, and on the return to the main park, we'll pause for coffee and visit two craft stores to engage with local art.

After a two-and-a-half-hour experience, the guided tour of Barichara concludes at the starting point.
