Description

You can choose between any of the options below when making your reservation. Each has a meeting point at Barichara Main Park and includes pickup and drop–off from the meeting point to the workshop location.

Painting workshop (2 hours)

This workshop includes an earth painting adventure, exploring traditional techniques using natural pigments. Create your own painting to take home, with no prior experience necessary. The workshop lasts 2 hours, plus 10 minutes for transfers.

Basketweaving workshop (2.5 hours)

In this session, learn about traditional basketweaving using Pedro Alejo Vine. You will craft a basket to take home while learning about the lives of Barichara's ancient inhabitants. The workshop runs for 2 hours, with an additional 40 minutes for transport.

Ceramic workshop (3 hours)

In this session, discover basic pottery techniques and the Guane technique used by indigenous people. You will make an object from clay, but you can't take it home as it needs a day to dry; you will receive a previously made one as a gift. This workshop lasts 2 hours, with an additional hour for pickup and drop–off to the center of Barichara.
