Craft Workshop in Barichara

Description

You can choose between the following options when making your reservation. Each has a meeting point at Barichara Main Park and includes pickup and drop–off from the meeting point to the workshop location.

Painting workshop (2 hours)

In this workshop, you'll explore the traditional technique of crafting art with natural pigments. No prior experience is necessary. The workshop lasts 2 hours, with an additional 10 minutes for transfers to and from pickup points.

Basketweaving workshop (2.5 hours)

You will learn about traditional style basketweaving with Pedro Alejo Vine. After 2 hours of hands-on learning, the return to the meeting point will include 40 minutes for pickup and drop–off transfers.

Ceramic workshop (3 hours)

This option focuses on basic pottery techniques, specifically the Guane technique used by the indigenous people of Barichara. The workshop will last 2 hours, with an additional hour for pickup and drop–off transfers. Note that you won't be able to take your creation home because it requires a day to dry, but you'll receive a previously made piece as a gift.
