Description

You can choose between any of the options below when making your reservation. Each has a meeting point at Barichara Main Park and includes pickup and drop–off from the meeting point to the workshop location.

Painting workshop (2 hours)

This workshop focuses on earth painting, exploring the technique of crafting art with natural pigments. You can create your own painting to take home, with no prior experience required. The workshop lasts 2 hours, plus an additional 10 minutes for transfers.

Basketweaving workshop (2.5 hours)

In this option, you'll learn the art of traditional basketweaving using Pedro Alejo Vine. We'll share stories about the lives of Barichara's ancient inhabitants. The workshop lasts 2 hours with a 40-minute transfer time for pickup and drop-off.

Ceramic workshop (3 hours)

This workshop introduces basic pottery techniques using the Guane technique. You'll familiarize yourself with tools and clay preparation, making an object that cannot be taken home due to drying time, but you will receive a previously made item as a gift. The workshop lasts 2 hours, plus 1 hour for transfers.
