Craft Workshop in Barichara

Description

You can choose between any of the options below when making your reservation. Each has a meeting point at Barichara Main Park and includes pickup and drop–off from the meeting point to the workshop location.

Painting workshop (2 hours)

This workshop focuses on earth painting using natural pigments. No prior experience is necessary. You will create your own painting to take home. The workshop lasts 2 hours, with an additional 10 minutes for transfers to and from pickup points.

Basketweaving workshop (2.5 hours)

This option involves learning traditional basketweaving with Pedro Alejo Vine. You'll craft a basket to take home and learn about the lives of Barichara's ancient inhabitants. The workshop is 2 hours long, plus 40 minutes for pickup and drop–off transfers.

Ceramic workshop (3 hours)

This workshop teaches basic pottery techniques using the Guane technique. You'll learn to prepare clay and create an object, but you won’t be able to take it home as it requires a day to dry. Instead, you'll receive a previously made piece as a gift. The workshop lasts 2 hours, with an additional hour for transfers to the center of Barichara.
