Description

You can choose between the following options for your reservation. Each option meets at Barichara Main Park and includes pickup and drop–off from the meeting point to the workshop location.

Painting workshop (2 hours)

This workshop focuses on earth painting using natural pigments. Participants will learn various techniques and create a personal painting to take home. No prior experience is necessary, and the workshop duration is 2 hours, with an additional 10 minutes for transfers.

Basketweaving workshop (2.5 hours)

In this workshop, participants will learn about traditional basketweaving with Pedro Alejo Vine. The workshop lasts 2 hours, and participants will also hear stories about Barichara's ancient inhabitants. Transfers will take approximately 40 minutes.

Ceramic workshop (3 hours)

This option teaches basic pottery techniques, introducing the principles of the Guane technique used by indigenous people. Participants will learn to prepare clay and create an object, but cannot take their creation home as it requires a day to dry. Instead, they will receive a pre-made piece as a gift. The workshop lasts 2 hours, with an hour allocated for transfers.
