Your adventure begins as we depart from San Carlos de Bariloche at the scheduled time, heading towards Villa Catedral. During the roughly 40-minute journey, our guide will share insights about the numerous activities available in this remarkable region of Argentina, a true haven for mountain enthusiasts.

Once we arrive, you will have leisure time to explore Villa Catedral at your own pace. Nestled at the base of the renowned Cerro Catedral, this quaint town serves as your gateway to the striking summit that towers at 7670 feet (2338 meters) above sea level, featuring stunning rugged peaks.

Situated within Nahuel Huapi National Park, Cerro Catedral holds the title of the premier ski resort in the southern hemisphere. You may opt to take the chairlift (ticket not included) that ascends to the mountain’s peak, where you can revel in panoramic views of surrounding pinnacles and Lake Gutiérrez. From this vantage point, vistas extend to Cerro Tronador and the Puntiagudo Volcano in Chile.

For those who enjoy mountaineering sports, the slopes of Cerro Catedral offer opportunities for skiing and snowboarding. The area is equally well-suited for hiking and mountain biking, making it an ideal setting for discovering this magnificent natural landscape.

Afterward, we will reconvene in Villa Catedral to begin our return to San Carlos de Bariloche, where we will conclude our journey.
