Day Trip to Cerro Cathedral

Departure from San Carlos de Bariloche to Villa Cathedral takes approximately 40 minutes, during which the guide will explain activities in the area. You will have four hours of free time to explore Villa Cathedral, located at the base of Cerro Cathedral, which rises 7670 feet (2338 metres) above sea level.

Cerro Cathedral is within the Nahuel Huapi National Park and is the largest ski centre in the southern hemisphere. An optional chairlift (ticket not included) is available for stunning views of the mountains and Lake Gutiérrez. The peak also offers views of Cerro Tronador and the Chilean Puntiagudo Volcano. For sports and activities, options include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and mountain biking.

After the exploration time, participants will regroup in Villa Catedral for the return trip to San Carlos de Bariloche, arriving after 4 hours.

Hotel Pickup

A pickup service is available from hotels in the centre of Bariloche. If staying elsewhere, you must reach the meeting point independently at the scheduled time.

Cerro Cathedral Chairlift

The Cerro Catedral chairlift ride is optional, and the entrance fee is not included in the trip price. Note that the chairlift may not operate due to weather conditions or other factors.
