Explore the border landscapes between Argentina and Chile on a rafting experience on the Manso River. Horseback riding is also available in the area.
Tour Options
You can choose from the following options during the booking process. Both include hotel pickup and drop-off, a Spanish or Portuguese-speaking guide, necessary equipment, breakfast, and lunch.
Manso River Rafting (10 Hours)
Pickup will be at your hotel in Bariloche to head south towards El Bolsón. We will proceed inland to the Manso Valley to the Patagonia Campestre complex for breakfast consisting of tortas fritas with coffee, mate, or tea. Afterward, rafting gear including wetsuits, helmets, windbreakers, and life jackets will be provided, followed by a brief technical talk on safety rules.
The rafting on the Manso River features medium-level rapids and waterfalls in the border area between Argentina and Chile. A stop will be made at the border to view the Patagonia Mountains before returning to the camp for a milanesa meal.
Manso River Rafting + Horseback Riding (11 Hours)
This option follows the same itinerary but adds a 1-hour horseback ride after lunch. The ride goes through the lenga forests, small streams, and along the river shore, providing insights about the local fauna and flora.
Hotel Pickup
Includes pickup from hotels within 8 kilometres (4.9 miles) of Avenida Bustillo. For accommodations further away, a meeting point will be arranged after booking.
