San Martín de los Andes & Seven Lakes Day Trip

Tour the region of the 7 glacial lakes (Siete Lagos) in Patagonia on a route to San Martín de Los Andes.

Day Trip Details

After meeting at the designated time, we'll cross the coast of Nahuel Huapi Lake, leaving Bariloche towards Villa La Angostura. This area is known for its forest environment and colorful landscapes. We'll begin our tour of the Seven Lakes of Patagonia.

The first lake we encounter is the Correntoso Lake, followed by the Espejo Lake and the Bailey Willis Lagoon. Our route continues over bridges spanning the Ruca Malén stream and the Pichi Traful River, leading us to the 'Hidden Lake' where a viewpoint awaits for scenic photos.

The tour progresses through woods to the joining of the Villarino and Falkner lakes, then to the Vuliñanco waterfall. Finally, we'll visit Machónico and Lácar lakes, with a two-hour stop in San Martín de Los Andes for lunch and exploration of artisanal stalls before returning to Bariloche, arriving around 7 pm.
