Barranquilla Bike Tour

At the indicated time, we will meet at the Mirador de la Sierra building to start the bike tour around the center of Barranquilla.

We will provide bikes and helmets and explore the neighborhoods of El Prado, Abajo, and the esplanade in Barranquilla. This activity combines transportation with exercise.

Our first stop will be the Estadio Romelio Martínez stadium. From there, we will proceed to El Prado, passing by the statue of Joe Arroyo, Elías Chewin Basketball Stadium, and Suri Salcedo Park. Participants are encouraged to take pictures.

In El Prado, we will visit Fundadores Park and the Monumento de la Bandera, significant historical sites in Barranquilla. We will also stop at the Sugar Baby Coliseum and the Amira de la Rosa Theatre, which hold cultural importance.

Next, we will pass the Edgar Rentería Baseball Stadium towards the Abajo neighborhood. Here, we will explore La Aduana Square, Plaza de la Paz, and the Metropolitana Cathedral, one of the largest in Colombia.

Finally, we will reach the esplanade to relax and enjoy the sea breeze, featuring a statue of Shakira and the Shark Fin.

After a 15 km (9 mile) ride lasting a total of 4 hours, we will conclude back at the starting point.
