At the appointed time, we'll meet in front of La Casa del Carnaval to start this free tour of Barranquilla. We will walk through Barrio Abajo, the epicenter of Barranquilla's popular culture, observing colorful houses and discussing the significance of Carnival, recognized as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

During the tour, we will admire the façades of churches, including the Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Queen Mary Cathedral. We'll visit the Edgard Rentería baseball stadium and the Customs House, while learning about notable figures from the city such as writer Gabriel García Márquez and musicians Joe Arroyo and Shakira.

We will have opportunities to engage with local artisans, plastic artists, dancers, cooks, and historians. The tour will conclude after an hour and a half at Plaza de la Paz or another central location in the city.
