Tour Details

We'll meet at the designated time at the Parque Los Fundadores, where we'll start to walk toward one of the most interesting and exclusive neighborhoods in Barranquilla: El Prado.

During the tour, we'll dive into the history of this neighborhood, renowned as Colombia's first planned urban center. Its architectural beauty lies in being the first in the country to apply modern construction principles.

Upon arriving in El Prado, you'll be welcomed by the grand mansions and luxurious houses that define this iconic neighborhood in Barranquilla. As we stroll through its streets, you'll admire valuable monuments and stop in front of some exclusive homes, such as the Casa Emiliani and the Casas Moriscas, designed in a Neo-Nazarian style. One of these houses recreates a section of the famous Patio de los Leones (Court of the Lions) from the Alhambra.

We'll continue our tour in Boulevard Norte y Sur, passing by the Mancini House, La Perla, and the Parroquia Inmaculada Concepción. Before wrapping up our tour, we'll stop in front of the Hotel El Prado, one of the most important hotels in Colombia.

After this 2-hour tour, we'll say goodbye so you can continue exploring El Prado at your own pace.
