Arroyo Turquesa Trip

Pickup is at 10 am from your hotel in Barreal, after which we will travel in a 4x4 jeep to the Laguna Blanca shelter, located approximately 50 miles away.

At the lake, situated at 10,100 ft, we will commence a 5-mile trek through the Andes. The hike includes several 15-minute breaks for rest.

We will also visit the Guanaquitos Post, exceeding 11,000 feet in altitude, where we will sample local products. Following lunch, we will head to the Arroyo Turquesa natural reserve, approximately 13,500 feet high in the Andean peaks.

Upon reaching our destination, we will explain the reasons behind the stream's vibrant color as we walk and capture photos along its banks. Additionally, we will observe key species of local Andean flora and fauna.

We will return on foot to our starting point, then board the jeep for the return trip to Barreal, enjoying more stunning Andean landscapes along the way.

After a short snack break, we will drop you back at your hotel, concluding the tour around midnight.
