Arroyo Turquesa Trip

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Barreal at 10 am and then set off in a 4x4 jeep to the Laguna Blanca shelter, about 50 miles away.

At this lake, located at 10,100 ft, we'll start a 5-mile trek through the Andes mountains. During the trek, we will have several 15-minute breaks.

We'll also stop at the Guanaquitos Post at over 11,000 feet altitude, where we'll taste some local products. After lunch, we'll head to the Arroyo Turquesa natural reserve, located at almost 13,500 feet in the Andes.

At Arroyo Turquesa, we'll discuss the reasons for the stream's intense color as we walk and take pictures along its banks. We'll also see some of the principal species of local Andean flora and fauna.

After visiting the stream, we'll return on foot to our starting point. Then, we'll get back into the jeep for the return journey to Barreal, enjoying more spectacular Andean landscapes.

After a short snack break, we'll take you back to your hotel, finishing this private tour around midnight.
