Valle de Calingasta Private Tour and Wine Tasting

After picking you up at your hotel in Barreal at the scheduled time, we will depart for the Calingasta Valley, famous for its world-class wines.

Our first stop is the Entre Tapias winery, where we will explore the facilities. Next, we will visit the Alta Bonanza de Los Andes winery in the Andes. Here, we will enjoy a tasting of local wines while an expert teaches us to distinguish their different nuances of aroma, color, and taste.

The Calingasta Valley is also known for its landscapes. We will continue to the Hill of Seven Colors and the Alcazar Hill. Additionally, we will visit the nearby ruins of Hilario to learn about the mining history of the province of San Juan.

We will then stop in the city of Calingasta to view the Christ of Mercy statue, which stands 100 ft high. Following this, we will take a brief tour of the historic center of Tamberías, one of the most beautiful towns in the valley.

On our return to Barreal, we will stop halfway for a light snack of traditional local products. We will arrive back at your hotel four hours after departure.
