At 10 am, we will leave from your hotel in Barreal in an all-terrain jeep heading southwest towards the Andean landscapes that act as a natural border between Argentina and Chile.

We will pass through the "Junta de Los Ríos", where several river courses converge. In this area at the foot of the Andes, we may encounter Andean llamas, which inhabit both sides of the border.

Our trip continues at the base of Cerro Mercedario, which rises over 21,000 feet high. We will wade across rivers and follow old mining roads before arriving at Laguna Blanca lake, where we can relax on the shores.

We will enjoy a delicious picada de campo, a typical Argentine picnic lunch. Afterward, we will explore other areas of the Andes foothills, enjoying spectacular panoramas.

After a mid-afternoon break for a light snack, at 6 pm we will drop you off at your hotel in Barreal.
