At 10 am, we will leave from your hotel in Barreal in an all-terrain jeep, heading southwest towards the Andean landscapes that act as a natural border between Argentina and Chile.

We will pass through the "Junta de Los Ríos", where several river courses converge. This area at the foot of the Andes is home to Andean llamas, which inhabit both sides of the Chilean-Argentinean border.

The trip continues at the base of Cerro Mercedario, a mountain over 21,000 feet high. We will wade across rivers and follow old mining roads on board the jeep before arriving at Laguna Blanca lake, where we can relax on the shores.

We will enjoy a typical Argentine picada de campo picnic lunch to regain strength. Afterwards, we will explore other areas of the Andes foothills and enjoy panoramas of the vast lands.

After a mid-afternoon break for a light snack, we will drop you off at your hotel in Barreal at 6 pm.
