At 10 am, we will leave from your hotel in Barreal in an all-terrain jeep, heading southwest towards the Andean landscapes that act as a natural border between Argentina and Chile.

We will pass through the "Junta de Los Ríos", where several river courses converge. In this area at the foot of the Andes, we may encounter Andean llamas that inhabit both sides of the Chilean-Argentinean border.

Our trip continues at the base of Cerro Mercedario, a mountain rising over 21,000 feet high. We will wade across rivers and follow old mining roads on board the jeep until we reach the Laguna Blanca lake, where we can relax on the shores.

We will enjoy a typical Argentine picnic lunch, called picada de campo. Following lunch, we will explore other areas of the Andes foothills, taking in the stunning panoramas.

After a mid-afternoon break for a light snack, we will drop you off at your hotel in Barreal at 6 pm.
