Los Manantiales Refuge Private Trip
We will pick you up at your hotel in Barreal at 10 am and drive in an all-terrain jeep to the foothills of the Andean mountain range separating Argentina and Chile.
We will first visit the mountain pass that General José de San Martín crossed on January 17, 1817, marking the start of the campaign for the independence of Peru, Chile, and Argentina. After this stop, we will continue through Las Hornillas.
We will drive in the 4x4 vehicle through rivers, over mountain passes, and along rocky roads, arriving at Los Manantiales, located at 11,000 feet above sea level. Here, we will enjoy excellent views of the mountain range.
A picnic lunch will be provided while enjoying the view from Los Manantiales. After lunch, we will begin our return journey. Along the way, we may spot local wildlife, including wild horses and condors.
Halfway back, we will stop for a light snack and drop you off at your hotel at 6 pm.
