Los Manantiales Refuge Private Trip

Pick-up will be at your hotel in Barreal at 10 am. You will then travel in an all-terrain jeep to the foothills of the Andean mountain range, which separates Argentina and Chile.

The first stop will be the mountain pass crossed by General José de San Martín on January 17, 1817, marking the start of the campaign for the independence of Peru, Chile, and Argentina. After learning about this historical event, the journey continues through Las Hornillas.

Traveling in the 4x4 vehicle, you will drive through rivers, over mountain passes, and along rocky roads until reaching Los Manantiales, located at 11,000 feet above sea level. This vantage point offers views of the entire mountain range.

You will have a picada de campo for lunch while enjoying the scenery. After lunch, the return journey begins. You may spot local wildlife, including wild horses and condors. A stop for a light snack will be made halfway back, with a drop-off at your hotel at 6 pm.
