After this, we will drive into the Tontal foothills, navigating along a dry riverbed of an extinct river in the 4x4. We will reach the old bentonite mines, where we will find notable paleontological remains.

Next, we will proceed to the Petrified Forest, which features a significant collection of fossilized ferns and trunks dated thousands of years back. You will learn about the origins of this natural phenomenon while enjoying a snack of traditional products.

Following this, we will explore the mountains, caves, and slopes of the Petrified Forest, ideal for landscape photography.
