At 10 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Barreal. From there, we will depart in an all-terrain jeep to the Calingasta Valley, where the Sierra del Tontal is located, also known as the foothills of San Juan.

We will follow the tracks of drivers of the Dakar Rally, which occurred in South America from 2009 to 2019, passing through crucial stages of the race. We will then move towards the area of the mountain range, where communication antennas stand at over 13,000 feet.

During the trip, we will admire the landscapes of puna grasslands typical of the Andean altiplano regions. Following these views, we will visit an old silver deposit exploited during the government of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento.

We will have a picnic lunch and begin our return journey, observing various points of the 250 miles of the Sierra del Tontal. A light snack will be provided halfway through the trip. Finally, we will return to your hotel in Barreal by 6 pm.
