Meeting at Atins Port at the designated time, we will board a traditional boat to search for the elegant scarlet ibises.

The journey begins as we sail down the Preguiças River and move away from the coast in the afternoon. This time is optimal for spotting scarlet ibises. As we progress along the river, we will start to see the first examples of these birds.

We will reach Isla do Mangue, where the birds begin their flocking flight, displaying their intense red and pink colours. The scarlet colour of their plumage intensifies from their first flight.

We will anchor to admire this spectacle from the boat while discussing their behaviour, diet, and mating rituals. These birds are as fascinating as they are beautiful!

After this experience, we will return to our starting point, concluding the tour in a total of 2 hours.
