Sunset at Lençóis Maranhenses Sand Dunes

Want to enjoy a unique sunset? On this tour, we'll leave Atins in an offroading vehicle and explore the sand dunes in Lençóis Maranhenses National Park in the evening.

Activity Details

At the specified time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Atins and board an offroading vehicle to start this sunset tour of the Lençóis Maranhenses sand dunes. It will take approximately 30 minutes to reach the impressive dunes in the Ponta do Mangue region. The national park spans over 90,000 hectares of sand dunes.

During the tour, depending on the season, we'll take a break to swim in 2 or 3 lakes, including Tropical Lake, Esmeralda Lake, or Poço Verde. Remember to bring your swimming gear.

When the sun is about to set, we'll pause to admire the sunset from the top of one of the dunes in Lençóis Maranhenses. You will have time to take photos and enjoy the sky's orange tones.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Atins.
