Liamuiga Volcano Hiking Activity

Once we've picked you up from your hotel in Basseterre at 8 am, we'll set off northbound for the base of the Liamuiga volcano.

After around an hour's drive, we'll arrive at our destination. We'll embark on a hiking route through the rainforest and the incredible area surrounding the volcano. During our 2-hour 30-minute hike we'll learn more about this mountain, which is the highest point on the island of Saint Kitts.

As we walk, we'll take note of the variety of fauna and flora found in this natural area. We'll discuss fun facts about cloud forests and their ecosystems while observing different types of moss, ferns and flowers.

We will enjoy a tasty picnic lunch consisting of a sandwich and a drink. Once we've eaten, we'll start making our way down Mount Liamuiga.

We'll get back into our vehicle and take you back to your hotel, where we should arrive at 3 pm.
