Liamuiga Volcano Hiking Activity

On the Liamuiga Volcano Hiking activity, participants will explore the tropical forests of Saint Kitts. Following a pickup from your hotel in Basseterre at 8 am, the journey to the base of Liamuiga volcano will take approximately one hour.

Upon arrival, the hiking tour begins with a 2-hour 30-minute trek through the rainforest surrounding the volcano, the highest point on the island. The hike will include observations of the diverse fauna and flora, with discussions about cloud forests and their ecosystems, as well as the various types of moss, ferns, and flowers encountered along the way.

A picnic lunch featuring a sandwich and a drink will be provided to recharge before the descent down Mount Liamuiga. After the hike, participants will be transported back to their hotel, with an expected arrival time of 3 pm.
