Come and discover the charms of Bath, a city declared a World Heritage Site for its historical and artistic heritage. On this guided tour you'll see its Roman baths, the majestic Abbey, and the Royal Crescent.
Bath Guided Tour
At the indicated time we'll meet in front of the entrance to Bath Abbey, where we can contemplate its structure and beautiful stained glass windows. Its façade and location on the banks of the River Avon make this Gothic temple the city's most iconic landmark.
Afterwards, we'll see the Bath Assembly Rooms, built in the Georgian style, where prominent figures of the time such as Jane Austen and Charles Dickens met. We will then continue to the Roman Baths, visiting the exterior and learning about the historic bath complex founded in the time of Emperor Vespasian in 70 AD.
The tour will continue in the oldest part of the city, highlighting its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll pass by the Theatre Royal and proceed to Queen's Square, an important architectural element of Bath.
In the final part of the tour, we'll approach the Royal Crescent, a residential complex of thirty terraced houses arranged in a crescent, recognized as the most significant example of Georgian architecture in the UK. Following this, we'll cross the Georgian-style Pulney Bridge and walk along the riverbank of the River Avon.
We'll conclude our tour after two hours exploring the history and culture of this fascinating city.
