On this excursion from Bayahibe, we'll discover Catalina Island and explore the Chavón River, a film location of the movie Apocalypse Now.

Catalina Island & Chavon River Day Trip

After hotel pickup, we'll board a sailing catamaran to Catalina Island, sailing for about 40 minutes while enjoying the Caribbean Sea.

Upon arrival, we will go to the coral reef known as La Pared, where you can snorkel and explore marine life for 40 minutes. After snorkeling, we will anchor at Catalina Island. You will then be escorted to a small restaurant with sea views for a buffet lunch. Following lunch, you will have two and a half hours of free time to enjoy the white sand beaches, where you can relax or participate in activities like paddle surfing.

Afterward, we’ll head to the Chavón River, known for film scenes from Rambo II and King Kong. We will return along the coastline, viewing the villas of the affluent before concluding the excursion with a return to your accommodation.
