On this excursion from Bayahibe, we'll discover Catalina Island and explore the Chavón River, a film location of the movie Apocalypse Now.

Catalina Island & Chavon River Day Trip

After hotel pickup in the morning, we board a sailing catamaran for a 40-minute journey to Catalina Island, where we will directly access the coral reef known as La Pared. You will have 40 minutes to snorkel and explore the marine life before we anchor at Catalina Island.

On land, enjoy a buffet lunch at a restaurant with sea views, followed by two and a half hours of free time on the white sand beaches. You can relax or engage in activities like paddle surfing.

Following this, we will sail to the Chavón River, known for scenes from Rambo II and King Kong, offering stunning natural scenery.

We will return along the coastline, observing villas before concluding the excursion and dropping you off at your accommodation.

The excursion includes pickup at hotels between Bayahíbe and Dominicus. Additional fees apply for pickups outside these areas, such as Juan Dolio, Boca Chica, or Gran Bahia La Romana.
