Tour Details

Day 1

At the designated time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in João Pessoa. This journey will explore the unique landscapes of the Caatinga, a biome found only in Brazil. After a 112-mile (180-kilometer) drive, we'll stop at the Archeological Complex of Pedra do Altar in Barra de Santana, where we will prepare for a 0.9-mile (1.5-kilometer) hike to the Paraíba River.

We will visit archeological sites related to the Tapuia indigenous people, along with features like calderas and natural pools. Lunch will be at the restaurant at the archeological complex. The second destination is Lajedo do Marinho, noted for its rock formations. We will camp overnight under the starry sky.

Day 2

Day two begins with breakfast, followed by a 3.1-mile (5-kilometer) hike along the Trilha de Antonio Conselheiro, exploring unique rock formations and landmarks like Lajedo dos Esquecidos and Trono de Deus. After completing the trail, we will have lunch, then pack up and return to João Pessoa, arriving at your hotel around 6:30 p.m.

The tour includes an overnight stay at a campsite, providing tents with mattresses and bedding. Amenities include bathrooms, electricity, internet, refrigerators, and hammocks for a convenient experience.
