On this day trip to Campina Grande, you'll get to celebrate San Juan, one of the most important festivities in northern Brazil.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in João Pessoa to head towards Campina Grande, known for the largest San Juan celebrations in northeast Brazil.

After a 1.5-hour journey, we'll reach Povo Park, where a themed bus will take us to the festival area. This vehicle will be accompanied by a guide dressed as a traditional festival character, the matuto, who will share anecdotes about local culture.

During the journey, enjoy traditional forró pé de serra, played with accordion, zabumba, and triangle, while learning about typical songs and traditions from northeast Brazil.

On the bus, taste the popular cachacinhas de Paraíba, along with traditional snacks such as popcorn and canjica.

Finally, we’ll arrive at the vibrant streets where San Juan is celebrated in Campina Grande. Here, you'll have 5 hours of free time to enjoy the festivities, dancing, and quadrilhas juninas show. Don’t miss the themed areas of the festival, which change annually.

After gathering again, we’ll return you to your hotel in João Pessoa, concluding the trip 8 hours after pickup.
