Whale Watching by Speedboat

Hop aboard a speedboat for a whale watching activity in Húsavík Bay. Enjoy close encounters with marine mammals and Icelandic puffins.

Activity Details

Meet at Hafnarstétt 7 in Húsavík harbour at the scheduled time to board the speedboat and set off into Húsavík Bay. The 2-hour trip allows us to spot the largest whales as they surface and jump out of the water. Informative insights on these marine mammals residing in northern Iceland will be shared.

After 2 hours of exploration, the tour will conclude.

Puffin Season

From April 15 to August 15, the activity includes a visit to Puffin Island to observe these birds during their active season.

Whale Watching

If no whales are spotted during the activity, participants may have the option to experience a trip on a traditional oak boat, subject to availability.
