Whale Watching by Speedboat

Hop aboard a speedboat for a whale watching activity in Húsavík Bay, where you can observe marine mammals and Icelandic puffins.

Activity Details

At the scheduled time, meet at Hafnarstétt 7 in Húsavík harbour. We will embark on a speedboat and set off into Húsavík Bay for whale watching. The trip will last 2 hours, during which we will traverse the bay to spot large whales and learn about these fascinating marine mammals found in northern Iceland.

After exploring the seas for between 1 and 3 hours, the tour will conclude.

Puffin Season

If participating in this activity from April 15 to August 15, the experience will include a visit to Puffin Island to observe the birds during the season.

Whale Watching

Animals are unpredictable; the number of whales observed may vary due to ocean currents, winds, and weather conditions. Arctic weather can change rapidly, influencing animal behavior.

The tour duration may vary based on weather conditions and the time required to locate whales. All activities are conducted with respect for the animals, ensuring their natural space is not disturbed.
