Tour Overview

Are you ready to indulge in some of Beijing's classic dishes? Our adventure kicks off at Exit E of Nanluoguxiang metro station, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary adventure in Beijing. Let's delve into its rich food culture!

We will begin by wandering through the hutongs, the charming, narrow lanes of the Nanluoguxiang area, where iconic red lanterns adorn the pathways. During this exploration, we’ll pause to taste local street food, with standout items including dumplings and traditional drinkable yogurt of Beijing.

Our journey continues as we make our way to the vicinity of Bell Tower Square and Drum Tower. Did you know these historical structures in Beijing’s Old City were once used to signal the time?

We’ll delve into their fascinating backstory while heading towards a favored eatery close to the Drum Tower. Here, we’ll savor hot pot filled with succulent meats and fresh vegetables. Enjoying this delightful broth against the backdrop of the tower, we'll complement it with authentic Chinese beer.

Following this feast, our next stop will be a leisurely walk along Yandai Xiejie, also known as Tobacco Pipe Alley. Curious about its name? We'll uncover the story behind it as we explore the dining spots nestled within this charming alley lined with traditional shops and red lanterns.
