Beijing & Shanghai Tour Package: 7 Days

Day 1: Beijing

Upon arrival at Beijing airport, you will be transferred to the hotel for a three-night stay. The rest of the day is free.

Day 2: Beijing

After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, home to Chinese emperors until 1911. Lunch at a traditional local restaurant follows. The day continues with a tour of the Hutong streets and a visit to a Chinese Tea House, ending at 5:30 pm.

Day 3: The Great Wall of China - Beijing

Picking up at 8:00 am, we will visit the Great Wall at the Mutianyu area via cable car for views of this landmark. Lunch is scheduled for 12:30 pm at a local restaurant, followed by stops at the National Stadium and the National Aquatics Centre, returning by 5:30 pm.

Day 4: Beijing - Shanghai

After breakfast, board a high-speed train to Shanghai taking approximately five and a half hours. A guide will meet you at the station and escort you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 5: Shanghai

At 9:00 am, we will visit Shanghai’s historic center and the Yu Garden. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Following this, explore Shanghai's Old Street, the Silk Museum, walk along the Bund for views of the Oriental Pearl Tower, and visit the Shanghai History Museum, concluding at 5:30 pm.

Day 6: Shanghai

After breakfast, we will travel to Zhujiajiao Water Town, an area of traditional houses over 400 years old, with free time to explore. A group lunch will follow, returning to the hotel.

Day 7: Shanghai

The day is free for personal exploration. Depending on your flight schedule, we will meet to transfer you to the airport, concluding the tour.

Important Info

A flight arriving in Beijing and departing from Shanghai is required. The train journey from Beijing to Shanghai is not escorted, but assistance is provided upon arrival in Shanghai.

Tour Meals

Four lunch meals are included, except on the first, fourth, and last days. Breakfast is provided daily during accommodation.
