Activity Details

After meeting at Dongsi North Street, participants will receive a brief introduction, along with the assigned electric bicycles or scooters based on preference, and guidelines on their use. Helmets will be provided. The tour explores Beijing's historic hutongs.

The tour begins with an immersion into the daily life and culture of Beijing, navigating through narrow streets that have been central to the city for centuries. Participants will learn about the residents and historical secrets as they pass traditional houses.

Next, the tour arrives at the Drum and Bell Towers, dating back to 1272, where visitors will discover the historical significance of these structures in regulating the city's rhythm long before modern clocks.

Throughout the tour, participants will observe classic scenes of the Chinese capital, such as elderly men playing Chinese chess, vibrant stores, children at play, and hidden courtyards. Stops will be made for photographs and tasting local cuisine at picturesque cafes.

The tour concludes after 3 hours.
