Forbidden City Guided Tour

We will meet at the JinYu Hutong Station at the scheduled time for the guided tour. Accompanied by an expert guide, you will explore the vast courtyards and pavilions of the Forbidden City, the world's largest architectural ensemble of ancient wooden structures.

As we explore, learn about the 24 emperors who ruled China for nearly 500 years and the architectural details and symbolism present, including the yellow roof tiles and imperial decorations. A visit to the Royal Treasury Museum will showcase ancient Chinese craftsmanship.

You may stay within the city walls to continue your exploration once the tour ends.

Important: This tour operates at 8:30 am and lasts between 3.5 and 4 hours.

Forbidden City Guided Tour + Tiananmen Square

This option includes a visit to Tiananmen Square prior to the Forbidden City tour. We will meet at the Muji Hotel Beijing to explore significant landmarks in China's modern history. Experience Tian'anmen Gate, stand in the world's largest public square, and learn about revolutionary struggles and historic events.

Afterward, we will proceed to the Forbidden City.

Important: This tour operates at 11:30 am and lasts between 4 and 4.5 hours.

A minimum of 10 people per group is required to run this tour; alternative dates will be provided if this number is not met.Tickets to the Forbidden City are limited; early booking is recommended.If booking more than one week in advance, your tickets will be bought online. If booking less than one week in advance, you will queue with the guide for tickets, without skip-the-line access.On the day of the activity, a short form will need to be filled out for entry, with the guide assisting.Correct passport details must be provided during the booking process to ensure proper ticket issuance.
