Great Wall of China Day Trip
The Great Wall stretches nearly 5,600 miles (9,000 km) with several sections available for visitation during this tour. You can choose from three sections:
Badaling
Badaling is the most restored and touristy section, leading to large crowds. This tour lasts for two hours.
Mutianyu
Mutianyu features well-preserved structures with stunning surroundings and fewer tourists, making it the recommended choice for most travelers. The duration of this tour is almost 2 hours.
Simatai or Jinshanling
These sections are steeper and less restored, suitable for those seeking a more rugged experience. This trekking-style tour lasts between 2.5 and 3.5 hours, depending on the chosen route.
The Ming Tombs (Underground Palace)
If you select the Badaling option, you can visit the Ming Tombs on your return to Beijing. Notify your guide to include this in your schedule.
