Join us on a private day trip from Beijing to explore the Simatai section of the Great Wall of China and Gubei Water City.

Day Trip Details

Your journey begins with pickup from your hotel in Beijing. We will head north for approximately two hours to reach Gubeikou, known as the Water City of Gubei. Upon arrival, you will have one hour of free time to explore the historic streets of Gubei, which offers views of the Simatai section of the Great Wall.

While in Gubei, consider taking a leisurely boat ride along its canals for views of traditional architecture. Afterwards, we will stop at a local restaurant for a buffet-style lunch.

Post-lunch, we will proceed to the Great Wall of China and ascend to the Simatai section via cable car. During our two-hour visit, you can traverse a significant portion of the wall, enjoying panoramic views and a breathtaking sunset.

At the end of the day, we will descend from the Great Wall and return to our transportation for the trip back to Beijing. You can expect to arrive at your hotel approximately 12 to 14 hours after pickup, concluding the excursion.
