On this tour, we will explore two essential monuments in Beijing: the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven, as well as the Pearl Market.

Summer Palace & Temple of Heaven

We will pick you up from your hotel at the specified time and head to the Summer Palace.

The Summer Palace extends over 290 hectares and was used by the Qing dynasty emperors to escape summer heat. During the visit, we will explore key areas and learn about their history.

After this visit, we will stop to eat at a place of your choice.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Temple of Heaven, where the emperor made sacrifices to the heavens and prayed for good harvests. The temple is part of a park where you can observe locals practicing tai chi, playing cards, flying kites, and attending dance classes.

Our last stop will be the Pearl Market, which sells a variety of clothes, accessories, jewelry, and replicas.

We will conclude the tour and drop you back at your hotel (or an alternate location) 8 hours after pickup. In winter or early summer, we may also visit the Beijing Olympic Village.

Why Book a Private Tour?

This is a private tour, allowing you to choose what you want to see. You can request changes, such as substituting the Pearl Market for the Silk Market or adding a visit to a park.
