Day Trip Details

Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Beijing. We will take a scenic two-hour drive north to Gubeikou, an ancient village known as Water City of Gubei.

Upon arrival, you will have approximately one hour to explore Gubei's quaint streets. This area provides an excellent vantage point to admire the Simatai section of the Great Wall. You can also enjoy a boat ride along the canals to view the town's architecture. Lunch is available at a local restaurant with a buffet-style option.

After lunch, we will head to the Great Wall of China and take a cable car to the Simatai section. Simatai is known for its preservation, offering spectacular views. During this two-hour visit, you will witness panoramic scenery and a breathtaking sunset.

As the day concludes, we will return to our transportation for the journey back to Beijing, arriving at your hotel approximately 12 to 14 hours after the pickup time.
