The Great Wall of China Simatai & Gubei Water Town Private Day Trip

Join us on a private day trip from Beijing to explore the Simatai section of the Great Wall of China and Gubei Water City.

Day Trip Details

Your journey begins with pickup from your hotel in Beijing at the designated time. We will drive north for approximately two hours to Gubeikou, an ancient village known as the Water City of Gubei.

Upon arrival, enjoy an hour of free time to explore Gubei and admire the Simatai section of the Great Wall from this vantage point. You can also take a leisurely boat ride along the canals to see the traditional architecture of the town. A stop at a local restaurant for a buffet-style lunch is also included.

After lunch, we will travel to the Great Wall of China and ascend to the Simatai section via cable car. This section is renowned for its preservation and offers stunning panoramic views. We will spend two hours walking along the wall, concluding with a breathtaking sunset.

At the end of the day, we will descend and return to our transportation for the journey back to Beijing. Expect to arrive at your hotel approximately 12 to 14 hours after the initial pickup, concluding the excursion.
