Right after that, a short trip southeast of Beirut to the Beiteddine People's Palace, the Cavaliers sector, the Presidential section, and the Mosaics vendors... So unique, yet so true! Learn more about the 18th and 19th centuries, the formation of Lebanon's modern history, The Emirs, Mount Lebanon district rulers, the Ottomans and the French, the palaces, life at the time, rulers’ duties, their plans, local customs and tradition, mulberries and silk factories, and the Druze of Lebanon, among others.

Visit Mussa Palace, a man’s dream that came true, with three levels of an interesting gallery and a gun museum. What a nice collection of weapons and how well displayed!
