Beiteddine Palace & Deir Al Qamar Tour

Pick-up from your hotel in Beirut will take place at 11 am, followed by travel to Mount Lebanon and the village of Deir el Qamar.

Upon arrival, a walking tour will commence to explore this historical town, formerly the capital of Mount Lebanon until the 19th century. We will visit the cobbled streets and learn about the town's history, known as the "Monastery of the Moon".

In Deir el Qamar, we will visit notable sites including Al-Midan square, Fahr El-Dine Maan Mosque, Emir Younes Maan Palace, and Fakhreddine II Palace. The town reflects a mix of cultures, showcasing mosques, synagogues, and churches.

A local restaurant will provide a delicious Lebanese meal. After dining, we will proceed to the Beiteddine Palace, sometimes referred to as the "Alhambra of Lebanon".

The exploration of the palace includes its large entrance courtyard, Midan, and various rooms such as the Madafa, Dar al Wusta, Dar al Harim, and the Beiteddine hammam.

At approximately 5 pm, the tour will conclude with a return to your hotel in Beirut.
