Bélesta Vineyards Hiking Activity
At 9 am, we will meet you at the Domaine Riberach winery and set off on our hiking route in Bélesta.
During our hike, we will stroll through local vineyards and discover which grape varieties grow on the vines. You will see how the slopes in the Ariège department are home to centuries-old vines, representing the labor of numerous winegrowers.
As we walk through the vineyards, we will learn about the history behind them and discuss the different stages of wine production. Each stage requires its own technique, handed down from generation to generation. This way, winegrowers have continuously achieved a unique and high-quality product.
We will finish our tour by returning to Domaine Riberach, where we will visit the winery and taste some different wines. During our tasting, we will learn to differentiate between the different aromas and tones the wines leave on our palates.
Our wine tasting experience will conclude between 11:30 am and 12 noon.
