We will gather at Domaine Riberach winery promptly at 9 am, where our hiking adventure in Bélesta will commence.

Throughout the trek, we will wander among the local vineyards and explore the diverse grape varieties cultivated in this terrain. You will observe the ancient vines that thrive on the slopes of the Ariège department in the Occitanie region, a testament to the dedication of local winemakers over the years.

As we traverse the vineyards, we will delve into their historic significance and examine the various phases of wine production. Each phase employs specific techniques that have been preserved and refined through generations, enabling winemakers to consistently create exceptional and unique products.

Our excursion will culminate with a visit to the wine cellar at Domaine Riberach, where we will sample several local wines. During this tasting experience, we will discuss how to identify the distinct aromas and flavors that linger on our taste buds.

This delightful wine tasting session will wrap up between 11:30 am and 12 noon.

Picnic in the Vineyards

For those interested, there is an additional option to enjoy a delightful picnic. This meal includes a refreshing salad, a sandwich, and a dessert. Each picnic also features half a bottle of wine (50 cl) to share between two people, along with a bottled mineral water.
