Do you fancy learning about the architectural peculiarities of communist Belgrade? At 11 am, we'll meet on Maršala Birjuzova and begin this electric scooter tour focused on Tito's Yugoslavia and the Brutalist movement.
We'll discover the history of Belgrade during the Second World War when it was part of Yugoslavia under Josip Broz Tito. While riding, we'll recount this historical period and the influence this political movement had on the city's architecture.
The brutalist style in Belgrade is characterized by concrete, industrial materials, and rigid shapes. Key locations include the Genex Tower, SIV 3 building, Belgrade Police Station, Serbian Palace, and Contemporary Art Museum, where we'll stop during the tour.
After 4 hours of exploring and learning about communist architecture in Belgrade, we'll return to the starting point to conclude the tour.
