Join us at 11 am on Maršala Birjuzova for an electric scooter tour focused on the architectural peculiarities of communist Belgrade. Explore Tito's Yugoslavia and the Brutalist movement as we travel back in time to understand the historical context during the Second World War, when Belgrade was part of Yugoslavia under Josip Broz Tito's command.
During the tour, we will discuss the influence of the political movement on the city's architecture, including the peculiarities of the brutalist style characterized by concrete, industrial materials, and rigid shapes.
Key stops will include the Genex Tower, SIV 3 building, Belgrade Police Station, Serbian Palace, and Contemporary Art Museum.
