Day Trip Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Belgrade to begin this day trip to Novi Sad. After approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, we'll reach our destination for a guided tour of the city's iconic sites.
We'll ascend the Petrovaradin Fortress, an important bastion in the history of the House of Habsburg dynasty, offering scenic views of the Danube River.
Next, we'll stroll through Danube Park until we reach the lake. From there, we'll visit the Bishop's Palace, a beautiful Serbian-Byzantine-style building influenced by medieval monasteries.
Continuing, we will pass Saint George's Cathedral and the Monument of Svetozar Mileti?, created by Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrovi?. We will also visit the Name of Mary Church, a Neo-Gothic church built after the 1848 Revolution, and view the City Hall, the National Serbian Theatre, and the Novi Sad Synagogue.
You will have approximately an hour of free time to enjoy local cuisine before concluding the tour. We will return to the starting point about 6 to 7 hours after the activity begins.
