Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Belgrade to begin this day trip to Novi Sad. After approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, we'll reach our destination for a guided tour of the iconic sites in this Serbian city.
First, we will ascend the Petrovaradin Fortress, an important historical bastion of the House of Habsburg dynasty, providing scenic views of the Danube River.
Next, we will visit Danube Park for a stroll along its trails to the lake in the center. Our tour continues to the Bishop's Palace, a notable Serbian-Byzantine-style building, and Saint George's Cathedral, the main Orthodox church in Novi Sad.
We will also see the Monument of Svetozar Mileti?, the former mayor of Novi Sad, and the Name of Mary Church, a Neo-Gothic parish church, before passing by the City Hall, National Serbian Theatre, and the Novi Sad Synagogue.
There will be approximately an hour of free time to enjoy local cuisine before concluding the tour. We will return to the starting point about 6 to 7 hours after the activity begins.
