Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Belgrade before setting off for the impressive Danube Valley.

After a 2-hour drive along the Danube, we'll arrive at the Golubac Fortress, a medieval stronghold built on cliffs. From the top of one of its towers, you'll enjoy the best views of the area: an aerial view of the Iron Gates of the Danube and its breathtaking surroundings.

Next, we'll stop at the eco-ethnological complex Kapetan Mišin Breg, offering a view of the Djerdap Gorge, the border between eastern Serbia and Romania.

You will have free time for lunch at local restaurants. Afterward, enjoy a 1-hour boat ride through the Iron Gates Gorge, a striking area of the Danube.

Following the boat ride, we'll visit the Tabula Traiana, a Roman plaque commemorating Emperor Trajan's engineering feats in the gorge.

Finally, we will return to your hotel, arriving 12 hours later.

This tour includes pickup from hotels located no more than 5 kilometers (3 miles) from Republic Square in Belgrade. If you're outside this radius, we'll meet you at Students' Square at the scheduled time.
