Discover the natural and monumental wonders of Serbia on this tour of the Manasija Monastery, Resava Cave, and Lisine Waterfalls from Belgrade.

Description

After picking you up at your hotel, the tour begins with a scenic drive through rolling green hills. Our first stop is the medieval Manasija Monastery, located in the impressive Resava Gorge. Upon arrival, we will learn about the history of the monastery, built in the 15th century, including its construction and reconstruction through the centuries. Despite various destructions, visitors can still appreciate the preserved floor mosaics, wall frescoes, and architectural features of this Serbian medieval site.

Next, we will visit Resava Cave, an extensive underground karst cave system spanning over 11 hectares. The tour will showcase various natural galleries and a diverse array of stalactites and stalagmites.

Following the cave, we will proceed to Lisine Waterfalls, a natural feature over 25 meters tall. You will have two hours of free time to enjoy the area, with options for local cuisine available at food stalls for lunch.

At the end of the day, we will return to Belgrade, with drop-off at your hotel around 4:30 pm.
