History and adventure will come together in a tropical jungle on this day trip to Altun Ha and Caves Branch! Get ready to explore an ancient Mayan city and tube down a river!

Day Trip Details

After picking you up from the designated pickup point, we'll depart Belize City to explore the archeological site of Altun Ha. This site is one of the most significant Mayan cities in Belize and dates back to the 3rd century. You will be introduced to the ruins of the pyramids and learn about the small settlement's history and battles.

Following the visit to Altun Ha, we'll pause for 45 minutes at a local restaurant for a Belizean lunch. After lunch, we will proceed to Caves Branch, where you will experience a tubing adventure on a river that flows through limestone caves.

Upon arrival, there will be a 45-minute hike through the jungle leading to the river. You will board tubes to tube down the river for 1.5 hours, culminating in a visit to the caves to see unique rock formations.

Finally, after this 7-hour trip, we will return you to your hotel.
