Granada Day Trip + Alhambra Tour

Description

At the specified time, we'll meet at a designated location and depart Benalmadena toward Granada, stopping for breakfast en route through the scenic Malaga countryside.

Upon arrival in Granada, you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore the city. Options include visiting the Cathedral, walking through the Arab neighborhood of Albaicin, or taking a stroll along the Paseo de los Tristes for views of the Alhambra.

After regrouping, we will proceed to the Alhambra for a 3-hour guided tour of the palace-complex, including the Palace of Carlos V, Alcazaba, Generalife, and its gardens. The tour will cover the history of the Muslim caliphs and emirs until the Catholic Monarchs' Reconquista in 1492 and explain the Al-Andalus essence preserved in the Alhambra, a World Heritage Site.

We will then return to the vehicle for the trip back to Benalmádena, completing the 10-hour excursion.

Alhambra with Nasrid Palaces

For a comprehensive visit, opt to tour the Nasrid Palaces, including highlights such as the Courtyard of the Lions and Palace of Comares, though the Alcazaba will not be included in this option.
