Castellón de la Plana Day Trip
At 9:25 am we'll meet outside the Benicassim Tourist Office to begin our tour. We'll board the minibus and in just 15 minutes, we'll reach Castellón de la Plana.
We'll arrive at the Grao de Castellón to see the fishing port. We'll learn about the seafaring traditions of Castellón de la Plana as we walk around the marina and discuss its recent evolution.
Next, we'll proceed to the Museum of Fine Arts, noted for its unique architectural style and awards. The exhibition rooms feature various sculptures, Valencian ceramics, and art from Zurbarán's workshop.
After that, we'll tour the historic centre of Castellón de la Plana. Highlights include the Mercado de los Lunes (market), the co-cathedral of Santa María la Mayor, the bell tower El Fadrí, the theatre, the Central Market, and more.
We'll conclude the tour at 1:30 pm, returning to Benicassim.
