Castellón de la Plana Day Trip
At 9:25 am we'll meet outside the Benicassim Tourist Office to begin our tour. We'll board the minibus and in just 15 minutes we'll reach our destination: Castellón de la Plana.
Upon arrival at the Grao de Castellón, we'll view the fishing port and learn about the seafaring traditions of the area, discussing its evolution over recent decades.
Next, we'll visit the Museum of Fine Arts, recognized for its unique architectural style. The exhibition rooms feature various sculptures, Valencian ceramics, and works from Zurbarán's workshop.
We will then tour the historic centre of Castellón de la Plana, including the Mercado de los Lunes (market), the co-cathedral of Santa María la Mayor, the bell tower El Fadrí, the theatre, the Central Market, and more.
Our tour will conclude at 1:30 pm with our return to Benicassim.
