Ebro Delta Day Trip & Catamaran Tour

We'll meet at 2:45 pm in the Benicassim Tourist Office and head to the Ebro Delta wetlands, where we'll see its unique ecosystem.

After a 1 hour and 15 minutes journey, we'll arrive in the stunning region of Catalonia. There, we will board a catamaran to explore this extraordinary environment. The tour includes views of Buda Island, the largest island in Catalonia, featuring 3 miles (5 km) of unspoilt beaches.

Expect to spot various birds along the riverbanks, including seagulls, flamingos, ducks, swans, and stone curlews. Then, we will navigate through the vast rice fields, which contain 6 different varieties of rice recognized by the Protected Origin of Destination seal.

After a 50-minute catamaran ride, we will arrive at the Ebro Delta Ecomuseum to learn more about the area's biodiversity.

We will return to the bus and arrive back in Benicassim at 8:15 pm.
