Join the Maestrazgo Mining Park & Culla Day Trip from Benicassim, where you will visit two historic mines and explore Culla, an attractive village in Castellón.

The meeting point is at 8:55 am next to the Benicassim Tourist Office. From there, a minibus will transport you to the Maestrazgo Mining Park, which features a network of underground galleries at a depth of 2,600 feet (800 metres) and offers views of the Upper Maestrazgo region.

The tour of the Victoria and Esperanza mines lasts 2 hours. You will ride a train to the Victoria mine, don safety helmets, and begin your exploration of the underground labyrinths.

An expert guide will provide insights into the historical mining operations, tools used, and extracted minerals. You will also see the original mining carts and geological formations up close.

After visiting the Victoria mine, you will return to the train to the Esperanza mine, where you can observe its natural features and learn about mining work.

Subsequently, the tour will proceed to Culla to follow the Temple Route, exploring the town's old quarter, which is an Asset of Cultural Interest. You will discuss the cultural influences visible on the cobbled streets, passing by an 11th-century castle and other historical landmarks.

The tour concludes with a return to Benicassim, expected by 1:40 pm.
